I am a Master’s degreed, registered dietitian and licensed nutritionist therapist with certification (CEDS) for working with those struggling with eating disorders. I have more than three decades of experience serving all ages 0-100. My private practice originally was established in New York and continued to grow upon my relocation to South Florida in 1999, where I currently maintain an office in Boca Raton.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Nutrition from New York University (NYU) and my Undergraduate Degree in Kinesiological Science from the University of Maryland. I am a certified eating disorder dietitian with supervisory credentials for those new trainees in the field of eating disorder.
As a nutrition expert, I promote a unique non-diet strategy to eating, focusing on the hunger/satiety aspect of each clients’ eating. This unique approach effectively treats people with weight issues as well as improving medical conditions. I feel like I have a gift to share with all of those in need to improve their health, no matter how young or how old. It has been my deep honor and passion to watch people transform their lives from good to better, or from poor to optimal. It is truly magical.
My nutrition consultations include treating patients with the following issues: Eating Disorders, Weight Management, Diabetes, Celiac Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Colitis, Gastroporesis, Hypertension, Hypercholesterolemia, and Women’s issues.
I am a medicare provider for both MNT-approved diagnosis of diabetes and renal disease. I am honored to be the Nutritional Advisor for the Palm Beach County Celiac Support Group. Beyond conducting individual sessions, I enjoy facilitating groups, doing seminars and presenting lectures on different nutrition topics. I am also a clinical supervisor for dietitians training to be eating disorder specialists.
And when I am not at work, I am a proud mommy to my two daughters, Rachel and Jillian.
